Palazzo Innovazione – Salerno
Live event recording available on YouTube
The final event of SUMMA BAC 2026 on Entrepreneurship took place on May 22 in the inspiring atmosphere of Palazzo Innovazione in Salerno: the long-waited “Final Pitch Competition”, marked the conclusion of an intense, creative, and challenge-filled journey.
The day began with pitch preparation sessions and final rehearsals, supported by the valuable feedback of Enrico Vellante from 012factory S.p.A. Società Benefit certified B Corp, who guided the students through the final refinements before the official competition.
At 4:00 PM, the live YouTube streaming officially launched the Pitch Competition, while guests and jury members were welcomed onsite. Among them the representatives of the companies behind the business challenges: Claudia Cacia for Caffè Motta, Grazia Pingaro for Convergenze S.p.A. Società Benefit and Teresa Palmieri for Tenuta Vannulo, together with the sponsor BCC Campania Centro Cassa Rurale ed Artigiana, represented by Director Mario Cuoco.
Professors Bice Della Piana – Scientific Coordinator of the NEOLAiA Alliance for UNISA – and Rosangela Feola – Scientific Coordinator of SUMMA BAC – welcomed the guests and introduced the student teams.
During the competition, students, divided into 8 groups, presented their projects. Innovative ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit characterized each presentation, leading to a dynamic and engaging exchange with the participating companies.
The company jury gathered to select the winners of the “Best Business Idea” category. Special prizes were also presented for “Best Pitch” and “Best Project”.
The final results, combining the votes of both the onsite jury and the online audience of 150 voters, awarded:
- “ConvEnienza”, the team working on the Convergenze challenge, as winner of the Best Pitch Award;
- “Motta Freddo”, the team working on the Caffè Motta challenge, as winner of the Best Project Award.
The winners of the Best Business Idea category were:
- Motta Freddo for Caffè Motta: a cold-served coffee with a Neapolitan essence designed for the American market;
- ConDiag for Convergenze: a service package for SMEs including a free diagnostic module that highlights potential company savings in energy, connectivity, cloud, and security sectors;
- Buf-ale Artisans for Tenuta Vannulo: a craft beer created by using the buffalo whey left over from daily mozzarella production.
Special thanks go to partner 012factory, sponsor BCC Campania Centro, the participating companies, all the students, tutors and the entire NEOLAiA team who managed to make this multicultural experience of growth, innovation and collaboration possible, hoping that there will be further editions of SUMMA BAC.
