University of Salerno
On May 18, at the University of Salerno, the three companies involved in the SUMMA BAC project launched their challenges. These challenges are designed to provide participants with real-world problems to tackle while expanding their knowledge in strategic sectors.
One of the three companies is Caffè Motta.
Caffè Motta is now a Made in Italy excellence, made even more recognizable by its communication signature “Ti voglio bere”. Since 2001, the brand has brought the experience of the Salerno-based company to Italy and abroad, becoming one of the top ten brands in the Italian modern retail market.
Production takes place entirely in Italy, with strong attention to raw material quality, roasting processes, and supply chain control. In the new Salerno production plant, inaugurated in 2019, tradition and innovation come together to ensure high-quality standards and an increasingly strong presence in international markets.
Caffè Motta represents an example of a company capable of promoting the Italian coffee tradition beyond national borders. From this vision comes the Summer School challenge: “l’Italia in tazza, oltre ogni confine” (Italy in a cup beyond every border).
The goal is to understand how to make the brand more competitive through market analysis, product positioning, and effective commercial strategies.
Which strategy could win over international consumers?
