At the Nicosia meeting, WP3 officially launched two major training pathways designed to promote diversity and inclusion within higher education:
- Task 3.3 – D&I NEOstaff, for administrative and non-academic staff,
- Task 3.4 – D&I NEOmentor, for socially engaged students and peer supporters.
The D&I NEOstaff Training, scheduled at Bielefeld University (4–8 May 2026), will be a five-day immersive workshop focused on building awareness, sharing best practices, and designing inclusive solutions in university services. Each partner university will send five staff members who will become NEOLAiA D&I Ambassadors in their institutions.
In September 2026, the D&I NEOmentor Training will follow — a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) combining virtual and on-site sessions, leading to one year of peer mentoring activities. The coming months will be dedicated to the co-creation of training modules and the development of supporting materials, to make both experiences unique, meaningful, and truly unforgettable!
