The UNISA NEOLAiA Delegates met yesterday to discuss the progress of the Alliance’s activities and plan upcoming initiatives.
The meeting opened with a welcome speech by the Rector and the signing of the Cooperation Agreement for the joint degree in Science, Management and Politics in Global Health, a significant step in strengthening cooperation between the Alliance’s universities.
Among the main topics discussed were traineeships and the involvement of laboratories, centres and spin-offs in WP6, public engagement and the NEOLAiA Point at the Fondazione Carisal, with updates on seminars, science communication activities and the event on 2 April dedicated to Trotula de Ruggiero, as well as the Open Research Hub and Virtual Café, with operational guidelines for participation via IRIS within the framework of WP8. Other points discussed were micro-credentials and possible experiments in WP9 and, finally, the NEOLAiA communication toolkit.
It was an operational and strategic meeting that confirms the University’s commitment to consolidating its role within the Alliance and promoting an increasingly integrated and participatory European dimension.
