The first two modules of the NEOLAiA Pedagogical Hub are now available at this link https://celene.univ-tours.fr/course/index.php?categoryid=4001. Both were developed by the University of Salerno in collaboration with the project partners, and share the same learning philosophy: they are self-paced (no scheduled sessions, no deadlines) designed for academics and calibrated for approximately one and a half hours. Each educator engages with the content at their own pace, returning to it whenever and however feels most useful.
The first module, Diversity & Inclusion, does not approach inclusion in the abstract. It starts from real situations (a student with a specific learning disorder, a multilingual classroom where the same voices always dominate) and asks educators to make decisions, reflect on their own habits, and try out concrete tools they can bring into their teaching. Three progressive phases (inclusive environments, unconscious bias, classroom climate) build a coherent journey, but can also be explored independently.
The second module, International Teaching Collaboration, focuses on the design of COIL experiences (Collaborative Online International Learning) that is, teaching activities jointly designed and delivered by educators and students from different universities through virtual international collaboration.
Each module includes a Resource Library: a curated collection of supplementary materials, templates, and practical tools that participants can access during and after the course. Upon completion, each educator receives a certificate acknowledging their participation and the training pathway they have undertaken.
The goal of both modules is not to produce perfect educators. It is to create a space to pause, acquire new tools, and make more conscious choices, in the classroom and beyond.
