University of Salerno – Scientific Library
On May 18 students of SUMMA BAC project were welcomed to the University of Salerno for a day devoted to innovation, creativity and confrontation with the Entrepreneurship world.
During the first meeting the participants have been given the opportunity to know NEOLAiA’s team, the partner 012 Factory, our sponsor BCC and the companies involved in the Summer School, each of which have proposed a challenge to the students.
Through the figure of the Director Mario Cuoco, the bank encouraged the students to develop a sense of initiative, curiosity and confidence in their own abilities. Involved in educational, cultural initiatives dedicated to the new generations, the BCC support confirms its commitment to projects that promote social inclusion, the local community, training and international cooperation.
In the afternoon, the Workshop “Business Idea Generation” took place in the Scientific Library of the University, led by Enrico Vellante, co-founder of 012 Factory. All of the 26 participants have been involved in interactive activities and games designed to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
The four games were centered around innovation and competitiveness:
- Thinking outside the box, to learn looking at problems from different perspectives;
- New dimensions, focused on identifying alternative solutions;
- Languages are important, related to the importance of creative interpretation in problem-solving;
- Having a whole view, aimed at highlighting how significant it is to have a whole view of a task before taking action.
It was a dynamic and immersive experience that gave students the opportunity to open the door to innovative approaches fostering collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
