March 20, 2026

On March 18–19, 2026, Bielefeld University hosted the third face-to-face meeting of Work Package 2 (WP2) of NEOLAiA, providing an important opportunity for discussion and collaboration on teaching and learning activities.

Throughout the two days, partners shared updates on the main WP2 activities, including the development of the Pedagogical Hub and the organisation of the Summer School, outlining both progress achieved and future perspectives. A key highlight was the interactive World Café session, which enabled participants to explore what works well, identify challenges, and discuss possible solutions across the different tasks of the project.

A particularly engaging moment was the workshop on the future of teaching and learning within NEOLAiA. Participants reflected on what can be realistically achieved during the current phase of the project and identified priorities to be addressed in upcoming calls. The discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening integration across activities and developing shared strategies to enhance overall impact.

The second day focused on key themes related to educational innovation, such as micro-credentials and digital badges, with the aim of defining priorities and guiding their future development. Additional sessions were dedicated to the Focus Academy, including the development of checklists and syllabi, as well as a workshop on WP2 data, addressing indicators, impact, surveys, and results to be included in the next Deliverable.

The meeting concluded with a wrap-up session and the definition of next steps, involving task leaders from the different activities and reinforcing a shared vision for the continuation of the project.

An inspiring and productive meeting, rich in insights and collaboration, which further strengthened the joint efforts of the NEOLAiA network in advancing pedagogical innovation.
