WP5 Meeting in Salerno: Boosting Collaboration Across Europe

During the general in-person meeting in Salerno, the last day was dedicated to the WP meetings. Members of the Alliance came together to discuss a wide range of topics in WP5, including the Living Lab Hub, strategic research projects, mapping tools, and collaboration strategies, sharing updates and ideas to strengthen cooperation across the network.

The team shared insights from a recent Living Lab workshop with Dominik Scherrer, a professional moderator with 18 years of experience working with NGOs, particularly in the diversity and inclusion field, and presented a mock-up of the upcoming webpage. Highlighted projects included initiatives in environmental education, gender medicine, and the promotion of women in STEM, showcasing the diversity and impact of potential collaborations.

The meeting also explored research mapping tools, AI-driven solutions, and strategies to promote collaboration. Plans include internal data sharing, seminars, newsletters, and automated alerts to keep researchers informed while minimizing administrative burden. New research initiatives on AI, professional transformation, and digitalization of financial data were presented, showcasing WP5’s interdisciplinary focus.

Looking ahead, WP5 will continue to foster cross-border collaboration, engage younger researchers, and refine strategies to maximize the impact of its initiatives and increase regional research impact.
