On 10–11 November 2025, the Work Package 1 of NEOLAiA met at the University of Jaén (UJA) for a two-day meeting focused on the midterm report, impact measurement, and planning the next steps of the project. Representatives from the University of Salerno (UNISA) joined colleagues from all partner universities.
The meeting, coordinated by Beatriz Valverde with the support of Daniel López Cano and Guillermo Domínguez, opened with welcome remarks and an in-depth presentation of the midterm report structure: documentation, platform, surveys, interviews, and working methodology. A joint discussion followed, allowing partners to clarify questions and align on expectations.
In the afternoon, participants took part in a workshop on impact measurement and key dissemination and communication activities. Divided into breakout groups, partners analysed indicators, assessment tools, and potential outreach strategies, before sharing insights in a collective discussion. The day concluded with an olive oil tasting, offered by Iberoleum, and a convivial dinner.
The second day (11 November) focused on reviewing the inputs uploaded on Teams for the midterm report — an essential step to ensure coherence across contributions. Other relevant topics were also addressed, including the art exhibition call and a proposal by UJA regarding financial monitoring.
After lunch, the coordinators presented the next steps for finalising the report and planning upcoming activities. The official agenda wrapped up with a guided tour of Jaén Cathedral and the Arab Baths, providing a valuable moment of cultural exchange and partnership building.
The Jaén meeting marked an important milestone for WP1, helping consolidate the work achieved so far and strengthening collaboration among all NEOLAiA partners — including UNISA.
