On the morning of Monday, 12 October, the University of Salerno hosted the Welcome Day for the Joint Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Management and Politics in Global Health, the new international and interdisciplinary bachelor’s programme developed within the NEOLAiA European University Alliance.
The event marked the official start of teaching activities and welcomed the programme’s first cohort of students, introducing them to its key features, international learning opportunities and the support services that will accompany them throughout their academic journey.
During the morning, representatives of the NEOLAiA Alliance partner institutions, members of the Programme Board, university delegates, teaching staff and administrative personnel involved in the design and implementation of the programme contributed to the event. Students also received a special welcome kit created to celebrate the beginning of this new academic experience.
Delivered entirely in English, the Joint Bachelor brings together expertise in social sciences, management, public policy, data analysis, intercultural communication and global health. The programme also includes integrated international mobility, offering students the opportunity to study at partner universities and experience a truly European learning environment.
The Welcome Day represented not only the beginning of classes, but also the first step in building an international academic community committed to addressing complex global health challenges through innovative, interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches.
