May 5 2026 (online – Teams)
University of Salerno, Italy
The Welcome Live Session of SUMMA BAC was held on May 5 from 16:00 to 18:00 on Teams and set the stage for the Summer School 2026 focused on Entrepreneurship.
Bice Della Piana – Professor of Cross Cultural Management, International Project Manager and Scientific Coordinator of the NEOLAiA Alliance at the University of Salerno – and Rosangela Feola – Professor of Management & Innovation Systems at the University of Salerno and member of the task force of Entrepreneurship of NEOLAiA – welcomed the 26 students and introduced the team UNISA of the SUMMA BAC.
At the end of the meeting Carmen Chasovschi joined, responsible for WP6 Entrepreneurship of NEOLAiA and Associate Professor of the faculty of Economy, Administration and Businesses at the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava.
The students were given a brief explanation of the course program and a presentation of the companies they are going to visit during the onsite part of the course: Caffé Motta, Tenuta Vannulo and Convergenze, deeply rooted in the local area of Salerno but with an international outlook.
The meeting mainly focused on an overview of Entrepreneurship as a process, a competence and a state of mind and it was enhanced by questions and students’ remarks.
One significant aspect of this first lesson is the transversal competence of Entrepreneurship: this competence is particularly relevant for professional growth, which can be applied in the building of a new company, as well as in every aspect and stage of life within an organization, including the academic environment.
This is one of the many core concepts that the students will explore during the next Live meetings and the Asynchronous sessions (self-paced study).
Updates will be available on NEOLAiA’s social media channels:
