🗓 18 May 2026

📍University of Salerno

On May 18, at the University of Salerno, the three companies involved in the SUMMA BAC project launched their challenges. These challenges are designed to provide participants with real-world problems to tackle while expanding their knowledge in strategic sectors.

One of the three companies is Convergenze S.p.A. Società Benefit.

Founded in 2005 in Capaccio Paestum, Convergenze S.p.A. Società Benefit is now an innovative company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange and active in the Telecommunications, Energy, and E-mobility sectors.

Created with the goal of reducing the digital divide in the Cilento area through wireless technology, the company transformed a territorial challenge into an entrepreneurial model focused on innovation and sustainability. Today, Convergenze operates nationwide with fiber optic networks, energy services from 100% renewable sources, and the EVO network dedicated to electric mobility.

Research, technology, and environmental awareness represent the company’s core values, driving continuous investment in advanced infrastructure and sustainable solutions for the future.
From this vision comes the challenge proposed to SUMMA BAC students: “Connettere l’Italia che non si vede” (Connecting the Italy That Cannot Be Seen).

Participants will be asked to identify the most effective business model, the most strategic initial target, and the partnerships and incentives needed to develop a project that can be replicated on a large scale while maintaining efficiency and economic sustainability over time.
Which project will have the most innovative and sustainable impact?
