On Tuesday 21 April, the University of Salerno was pleased to host Professor Codruț Șerban from the Universitatea Ștefan cel Mare din Suceava, a partner university of the NEOLAiA Alliance, where he is involved in Work Package 7 dedicated to Multilingualism.
The visit took place within the pilot phase of the Language Assistant Exchange Program (LAEP), a NEOLAiA initiative that offers Master’s and PhD students the opportunity to undertake a mobility period as language assistants, supporting English-medium instruction and fostering intercultural learning environments.
During the day, Professor Șerban followed the activities of his student Cătălina Gabor, currently on mobility at UNISA, observing her daily work and attending a lecture in which she was actively involved. Cătălina collaborates with Professor Bice Della Piana in the courses Global Management and Business Administration, supporting teaching activities and facilitating interaction with international students. She is also involved in the adaptation of teaching materials, participation in workshops and international events, and in the activities of the 3CLab (Cross Cultural Competence Learning and Education).
The visit concluded with a fruitful meeting between Professor Șerban and Professor Bice DellaPiana, focusing on the progress of the program and its future developments, with particular attention to Cătălina’s experience.
