The NEOLAiA Scientific Communication team met online for the first time on 20 January 2025. Decio Rinaldi from the Technology Transfer Office works for UNISA in this team. The first meeting focused mainly on introducing the objectives and activities that could and should be carried out within this framework.
In the second meeting on 10 February, Jörg Heeren from the Communication Office of the University of Bielefeld shared some ideas on how to improve the collaboration within the NEOLAiA Scientific Communication team and presented some interesting examples such as the Wissenswerkstadt Bielefeld, a community hub that fosters exchange between science and society while actively involving citizens in its activities. The discussion also covered topics such as the specific use of channels such as LinkedIn or EurekAlert, the partners’ experiences with other channels, the use of AI to improve our media work, the possibility of realising a joint podcast project and much more.
In the third meeting on 10 March, the team gathered some ideas to plan the on-site workshops that will take place in Örebro from 20-22 May.
