On 28 February 2025, the Early Stage Researchers Mentorship Programme was officially launched.
The programme focuses on enhancing participants’ networking skills and providing expert advice on future career development within or outside academia, as well as at regional, national and international levels.
UNISA has two PhD students participating in the programme: Carmine Sessa (Department of Political and Communication Sciences) and Rita Turcio (Department of Pharmacy).
The students will participate in several online seminars on research-related topics and will be paired with a mentor from a NEOLAiA university. They will also visit their mentors on site.
