Work Package 3 (WP3), dedicated to Diversity & Inclusion, was launched in January 2024 with the definition of long-term guidelines and the planning of strategic activities. Following the signature of the NEOcharter and the launch of NEObest practices, the focus now shifts to the upcoming initiatives scheduled between October 2025 and December 2027, designed to strengthen the active participation of both students and staff.
T3.5 NEOlife events
Events will be organized across all partner universities, targeting students and staff with the aim of fostering inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and a stronger sense of belonging to the European NEOLAiA community.
T3.3 NEOstaff
Bielefeld University will host a staff week dedicated to training academic and administrative staff on D&I topics. The initiative will combine workshops, peer exchange, and practical tools to support more inclusive learning environments. Official dates will be announced during the WP3 face-to-face meeting in Nicosia (October 2025).
T3.4 NEOmentor
Bielefeld University will also coordinate a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for students, focusing on Diversity & Inclusion competences through innovative teaching methods and international teamwork. The official dates will also be shared at the Nicosia meeting (October 2025).
Through these activities, NEOLAiA reaffirms its commitment to building a European university that values diversity, promotes participation, and trains future generations of global citizens.
