On the 29th of April, in the Emilia Saveriano meeting room of the Rectorate of the University of Salerno, a strategic meeting was held between UNISA delegates and the UNISA team of the NEOLAiA project. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen internal coordination and promote greater awareness and sharing of activities related to the NEOLAiA project, the European alliance in which the University is actively involved.
The meeting emphasised the importance of ensuring a continuous flow of information and visibility of NEOLAiA initiatives to all areas of the university in order to encourage widespread participation and make a real impact across the academic community.
The day’s agenda included:
- A presentation of the Open Research Hub, a platform designed to build a centralised open database cataloguing key information about researchers and their areas of expertise across the Alliance, with data made openly accessible;
- A presentation of the Virtual Café, a collaborative digital space created to foster dialogue between professors, researchers and academic staff from partner universities;
- A focus on international mobility, with updates on new agreements, the Focus Academy, Summer Schools, and cultural awareness monitoring;
- A spotlight on Multiple and Joint Degrees, including a detailed overview of the new Joint Bachelor Degree in “Science, Management and Politics for Leaders in the Global Health Industry”;
- An overview of Inclusion, Multilingualism and Entrepreneurship policies developed in recent months in collaboration with Alliance partners.
This meeting was a concrete step towards strengthening UNISA’s internal network and ensuring that each NEOLAiA-related initiative is known, shared and valued, contributing to the development of an increasingly European, open and innovative university.
