First online seminar of the HRS4R team on 27 January 2025 within Work Package 5

January 27, 2025

Following the on-site meeting on 26-27 November 2024 in Tours, the NEOLAiA HRS4R team met online on 27 January 2025.

Each university gave a brief update on their progress in implementing the HRS4R label, including achievements since November, current challenges and key updates. There was also a Q&A session and a discussion on the creation of a shared database of key actions and contacts. UNISA is interested in starting the application process to obtain the HRS4R label, which is granted by the European Commission to research performing organisations that are progressing in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers in their policies and practices. Tiziana Bisogno and Tiziana Varani from the Teaching Staff Recruitment Office are members of the NEOLAiA HRS4R team.

On 7 April, the team will meet again online and focus on actions designed to welcome foreign researchers in their universities.
