We are pleased to announce an important update to the two previously published datasets on European University Alliances and its University. As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting transparency and accessibility of information, the updated datasets now reflect the latest developments in European higher education cooperation.

The first dataset, European University Alliances, has been expanded from the original 50 alliances to a total of 65 alliances. These alliances continue to play a key role in promoting student and staff mobility, fostering collaborative research, and developing innovative interdisciplinary education programs across Europe

The second dataset, Universities of the European Alliances, now includes 591 universities, an increase from the previous count of 452. These universities are members of the 65 Alliances and represent a growing network of institutions working together to advance higher education and research in Europe.

Making these datasets available and regularly updated helps ensure transparency and accessibility for students, academics, researchers, policymakers and the wider public. This valuable data enables informed decision-making, promotes greater awareness and encourages active engagement in the opportunities these alliances offer for the future of education and cooperation in Europe.
