Shaping the Future of Education: NEOLAiA WP2 Meeting in Tours

 On 12 and 13 June 2024, the University of Tours welcomed the NEOLAiA Alliance WP2 members for the first in-person meeting dedicated to teaching and learning. This two-day gathering marked an important step in defining the group’s priorities for the next four years, fostering collaboration and innovative initiatives in education. 

 

Agenda Highlights: 

The meeting featured engaging discussions, strategic planning sessions, and hands-on workshops, all aimed at shaping the future of teaching and learning within NEOLAiA. Key topics included: 

  • strategies for Pedagogical Development and Support; 
  • the development of Joint and Multiple Degrees across partner universities; 
  • the organization of Summer Schools, Focus Academy and dedicated mobility programs to enrich student experiences. 

 

Unity in Diversity: Strengthening NEOLAiA Partnerships 

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as participants exchanged ideas and shared best practices from their respective institutions. The meeting reinforced the importance of unity in diversity, highlighting the strengths that each partner university brings to the alliance. 

 

Beyond Meetings: Strengthening Bonds Over Shared Experiences 


Beyond the productive discussions, WP2 members also had the opportunity to connect informally, enjoying a delightful French dinner and experiencing the warm hospitality of the University of Tours. These moments further strengthened the bonds among team members, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that drives NEOLAiA forward.
