In February 2025, thanks to Dr. Maria Rizzo from the International Office, an exchange of emails was started with Prof. Marialuisa Restaino from the Department of Economics and Statistics at UNISA.
This led to a meeting where Prof. Restaino, who is already working on statistical analyses with UNISA data, shared valuable insights on our work with open data for NEOLAiA. She presented some of her analyses carried out with R, often using bar charts, and suggested exploring additional types of visualizations to better highlight trends in mobility.
Following the meeting, we shared with her our dataset on international student mobility to receive feedback and improve the analytical tools we are developing within WP8.
