The Taskforce for Entrepreneurship (TAFE) is Fully Operational to Support Regional Growth and Employability
The European University Alliance NEOLAiA, Transforming Regions for an Inclusive Europe, has announced the successful completion of Milestone 35 (M35), which marks the full operability of the Taskforce for Entrepreneurship (TAFE) starting from March 2024.
TAFE is positioned as a fundamental instrument for connecting the academic world, research, and local institutions.
The Taskforce is a core group of experts, with one representative from each of the nine partner universities. Professor Rosangela Feola has been appointed as the TAFE representative for the University of Salerno.
The main functions of TAFE include:
- Coordination and Analysis: Analyzing existing entrepreneurship actions and programs in the different universities and evaluating the innovation potential in regional contexts.
- Ecosystem Support: Mediating the extension of entrepreneurial opportunities and skills towards the local innovation ecosystem in each partner region.
- Training and Internships: Being involved in the co-creation of training pathways on entrepreneurship and an internship system.
- Support System: Coordinating the support system called “We Start-You-Up”.
The 2030 Vision and Next Steps
TAFE operates with a long-term vision (up to 2030) that aims to create a “dynamic and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem” empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to transform visionary ideas into sustainable and impactful initiatives, driving economic growth and social progress.
Following the initial online meetings in February and March, which detailed the role of the members and the partners’ best practices, the next key event will be the first physical meeting of WP6. This will take place in June in Suceava (Romania), at the “Ștefan cel Mare” University, for the finalization and approval of the Taskforce’s Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).
