After months of collecting and structuring data from partner universities, the first test version of the NEOLAiA Open Research Hub was put online in September 2024, developed by UNISA based on the structures provided by all partners.
The platform was then presented on 7 November 2024 at the WP8 meeting as a shared draft, and later refined thanks to the partners’ feedback.
The official launch took place in December 2024, with dissemination to all NEOLAiA universities and the release of a video tutorial on the alliance’s social channels. From that moment, the Open Research Hub has been fully operational as an open-access platform (CC-BY-SA), designed to:
- foster interdisciplinary and cross-border collaborations,
- enhance researcher visibility,
- support strategic research planning.
